You're probably already familiar with the Juggernaut.Case OPRTR phone case, with it's Quick Disconnect (QD) Door that seals and protects the USB-C port of the device. Historically, teams that need to connect MIL-Spec cables to hubs or tactical radios, remove that QD Door, and replace it with a sealed Juggernaut.Case Quick Disconnect Cable.
That setup remains the most pragmatic solution for most operators. But some units require a configuration designed to maximize the speed and efficacy of direct action missions
GO TO STEP 2: VELOX ARMOR.MOUNT
OPRTR CASE & SMART BLOCK
The drop protection for the OPRTR case goes well beyond MIL-STD, which allows for five devices to be used for testing. We only use one. (See more on our Testing Standards page.) The OPRTR case is typically used with the Quick Disconnect (QD) Door, or QD Cable, which secures with two thumbscrews to threaded brass inserts molded into the OPRTR case housing, providing an IP68 rated seal to the USB-C port of the device (IP68 = 1.5M for 30 min). For use with the VELOX ecosystem, remove the QD Door, and replace it with the VELOX Smart-Block, securing it with the captive socket screw (7/64" hex drive included). The Smart-Block also provides an IP67 rated seal to the device, but carries the USB-C signal out through the gold-dot contact points, which allows for the 15-pin array to connect to the module on the VELOX Armor.Mount.
The Juggernaut VELOX Ecosystem incorporates patented Ram Mount technology that practices one or more GDS IntelliSkin patents that can be found HERE.

COMPATIBILITY
Although the VELOX Smart-Block will fit into any of our OPRTR cases, our initial VELOX launch will support the Samsung S23 device. But the ecosystem was designed with future compatibility in mind. If significant requirements are identified, we can support versions that enable our other OPRTR case models, such as the XCover6 Pro and other next generation tactical edition EUD's.

FOCUSED ON SOLUTIONS

Gold dot contact points for pogo-pin connectivity are known for conductivity, corrosion resistance, and reliability - especially in applications that require frequent mating cycles. They provide consistent performance in harsh environments, which is why tactical radio manufacturers have utilized the proven technology for decades.
The VELOX Smart-Block is made of a nickel-plated aluminum housing, and the shielded pogo-pin array allows for rapid connection and disconnection of the EUD's USB and power interface. The Juggernaut VELOX Ecosystem incorporates patented Ram Mount technology that practices one or more GDS IntelliSkin patents that can be found HERE.
