Tactical EUD Management

VELOX is an integrated ecosystem built around select models of the OPRTR case. It protects the device connection, secures the EUD to kit, and supports charge, sync, and redeployment cycles, from the team room to downrange and everywhere in between.

Three challenges that defined VELOX.

The EUD (End User Device) is an essential part of the tactical communications kit. To better understand what operators need in the field, we surveyed end users about where their current setups fall short and what could be improved. Three key challenges stood out:

Rapid Connection

Faster connect and disconnect.

QD cables are proven, but some operational moments require a faster connection point. VELOX moves the working connection into a rugged interface for quicker connect and disconnect capability in the field.

USB-C Protection

The connection is a failure point.

The USB-C connection interface is the most critical yet delicate part of the EUD, and a common failure point in harsh environments. VELOX seals and protects the vulnerable connection, mitigating risk from repeated connection cycles.

Mass Provisioning

Manage a whole team at once.

Charging, data syncing, and updating multiple EUDs between missions can slow teams down. VELOX turns device readiness into one team-level workflow, helping teams reset faster and redeploy with confidence.
