Chris entered the Army in 1995. His career spanned 20 years, serving in 3rd Ranger Battalion, 3rd Infantry Division, the 82nd Airborne Division, 1st Special Forces Operational Detachment-Delta, and 1st Special Forces Command. He took part in 11 Combat deployments and over 600 missions as an Operator, in three separate theaters of Operation. Those experiences led him to be the Deputy Chief of Force Modernization for 1st Special Forces Command where he was responsible for the development, procurement, and fielding of over 30 new Programs of Record.
