Belt Mount

Had the first gen belt mount and it was good but it was stiff and hard to remove phone from it unless you gave some force to it. Over time the tab to release the tension broke and had to get a replacement. Saw there was a newer version and love it more. Easier to insert and remove phone. Feels more secure. Highly recommend this mount. Can adjust to different size belts too.

Very durable. I work construction and move around a lot. I broke one, but this is still the best case I’ve used.

The belt mount has very strong retention. It needs two hands to release the phone at first, but you will figure out a one handed method, but you will be holding onto the phone with just your fingertips when it releases. The belt clip is next to impossible to release when its on your person, its best / easiest to thread/unthread the belt through the clip unless you are clamping onto a thick belt like a gunbelt. The mount can be turned in 90 degree increments by unscrewing the screws and reassembling. That way you can be vertical or horizontal, buttons up or down, left or right. It would be very nice if the mount was supplied with or sold as an option, a spring-loaded, hinged, thumb release belt clip like on radios, that way you could easily remove the mount and phone so the phone and or the mount would not dig into your side when sitting in a vehicle or you want to simply clip it to your pocket, or even the vehicle sunvisor. This is more for "ready to rumble", you 'ain't knocking this off kind of duty, rather than use convenience.

It works, really well... it takes lots of muscle to get the phone in and out (which military guys have). I need more muscle. I'll work on that. Phone is secure without a doubt!

This belt mount is a solid mount with some versatility both horizontally/vertically for me. As a first responder and equipment operator I have tried both ways and still find the mount is jabbing me in the ribs or is in the way for a seatbelt when seated in a vehicle or equipment. Gets in the way of getting in/out on a quick response. I may need to try a different approach for my needs as well. Yes I would still recommend this item. Yes I am still happy with my purchase too. Thank you Juggernaut for this solid addition to my gear!
