This kneeboard is simple and works. Just know that the iPad version has metal on metal buttons which can stick without some grease and don't mesh well with the iPad. This is primary used with Android tablets and I doubt it has the same issue. It stays in place while moving and is great for TL's that require a larger tablet for ATAK tracking. Be advised that if you want to put a matte screen protector to reduce glare/reflection, you need the thinnest one obtainable to fit properly in the SLEEV. Over all, this is a quality built product that could, potentially, even be used for airborne jump operations. Buy with confidence.
