The Juggernaut.Case Armor.Mount is by far the most popular item in our product line-up, and this VELOX version takes mission capabilities to a whole new level. Traditionally, the OPRTR case snaps securely into the Armor.Mount, and cables are attached directly from the EUD case to a tactical hub or radio. With VELOX, we move the cable module to the mount, allowing discreet cable management behind the mount base, and reducing any snag hazards from a tethered EUD.
When the OPRTR case with Smart-Block is installed in the VELOX Armor.Mount, it passes the electrical connection between the EUD and the peripheral radio or hub.

The VELOX Armor.Mount 15-pin module connects to the shielded Smart-Block, and is further protected by an EMI gasket. The pin module also contains an integrated PCBA known as the Power Delivery (PD) Detect Circuit. This circuit is designed to allow forward compatibility with next generation systems that contain their own integrated PD functionality, and backward compatibility for legacy systems that do not have PD. The PD Detect Circuit monitors the configuration channel. If it detects that the peripheral equipment already has PD capability, it will present itself as a "pass-thru" circuit. If it does not detect PD in the peripheral equipment, the VELOX PD circuit will operate as a "proxy" PD circuit, enabling the EUD to act in power-sinking / data-host mode. While installed on the plate carrier, the cable can be routed through one of 4 different routing channels on the back of the mount, so that you can customize where it's connected to the other equipment on your kit.

FOCUSED ON SOLUTIONS
Unlike the standard Armor.Mount, the VELOX Armor.Mount is device specific to ensure a secure fit and connection, and has two different interface points. To install the OPRTR case, you need to first line up the Smart-Block and VELOX Armor.Mount pogo pin arrays, then while pressing those seals together, line up the mounting ribs in the center of the OPRTR case with the notch beds in the mount. If you're already used to our standard case/mount set up, it's just one new step, and your muscle memory will do the rest.
